Earlier this year, the largest fundraiser for cancer research in BC was unexpectedly cancelled a big blow to thousands of riders, including myself. But our dedicated group has vowed to keep riding and fundraising to support cancer research and treatment!

This year, were participating in the BC Cancer Foundations alternative event, Workout to Conquer Cancer. On August 910, our group of 8 dedicated riders will be doing an epic, self-organized ride. The silver lining about this new format: a much higher percentage of the money we raise will go directly to BC Cancer.

Details:

  • Date: Saturday, May 24th
  • Time: 5:00 PM 10:00 PM
  • Location: East Van Brewing Company (near Venables and Commercial)
  • Tickets: $60 (includes a gourmet sandwich, a beer or wine, and a donation to the cause)
  • Minors are welcome! No ticket needed just order off the menu.

There will also be a silent auction at the event. Itll be a great night to reconnect with old friends while supporting a great cause!
