Workout to Conquer Cancer 2025

This coming August, the Unicorn Racers, our ragtag band of cyclists will be doing an epic bike ride in order to raise valuable funds for research and treatment of cancer. We are not letting a lack of formal event stop us - we'll be riding no matter what!
I ride in memory of my daughter Emma. She was diagnosed as age 4 with brain cancer. After treatment and an amazing year with her healthy, the brain cancer came back and was incurable. We lost her in March 2018.
I strive to do what she'd want me to do with my grief: raise money and most importantly, ride bikes with my friends.
Over the last 8+ years of raising money we have learned about the amazing, world-leading treatments happening right here at BC Cancer (immunotherapy yeah!!!). Let's keep this going and strive to help improve treatment options, so no one ever has to hear the words 'incurable' ever again.
