This May, I will be moving every single day to raise funds for life-saving research and care at BC Cancer. I will move for the people who cannot and for every survivor who now feels strong. I will move for all my family and friends that have been touched in so many ways by Cancer, this challenge became deeply personal when my husband, Jason was diagnosed with a slow-growing lymphoma two years ago. Thankfully, its not the scary kind but cancer is still cancer.

BC Cancer has been incredible through it all. From his diagnosis to his first round of radiation for a tumor last month and all the appointments in between, their support has made a world of difference. Hes still navigating some lingering side effects, but hes doing well: staying strong, reading lots of books, and keeping his sense of humour intact.

This challenge is more than exercise it's about coming together to go beyond limits in making an impact for the 80,000 British Columbians facing cancer each year.
