Let's get moving!
Workout to Conquer Cancer 2025
Held by Sarah Yu

21 days remaining
This May, Im taking on a challenge that means so much to me Ill be moving every single day to raise funds for life-saving research and care at BC Cancer.
Im doing this in memory of my dad, who passed away in April 2020. Just weeks before, in early March, he was diagnosed with Nasal Melanoma. It all happened so fast, and losing him was devastating. But his strength, even in those final days, continues to push me to keep moving for him, and for everyone still fighting.
I'm also moving in memory of my childhood friend Tamara. We grew up together in gymnastics and school she was in trampoline, and I was in rhythmic. Every few years, the different disciplines would come together for nationals, and one year, we finally got to compete in the same place. That moment standing side by side at nationals is one of my favorite memories with her.
This challenge is more than just exercise. Its about movement with purpose for the people who cant move right now, for every survivor who now feels strong, and for the 80,000 British Columbians who face cancer each year.
So as I sweat my way through May, please consider showing your support by donating. Every step, every rep, and every drop of sweat will be for them and with your help, we can make a real impact.
Together, we are stronger than cancer.
Thank you so much.
