Workout to Conquer Cancer 2025
Held by Laurissa Stebeleski

21 days remaining
Ten years ago this summer I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My treatment included 3 surgeries, 4 rounds of chemotherapy, 30 rounds of radiation, 13 drug transfusions over the course of a year, 5 years on a drug that slowed my metabolism, made me hungry all the time, and gave me daily debilitating leg cramps. But I was able to beat it and remain cancer-free so I'm one of the lucky ones.
The photos I shared in my profile are from the Test of Metal mountain bike race I trained for during my cancer treatments - how I felt at the finish line and all the people who supported me at the race and through my treatments.
This May, I will be moving every single day to raise funds for life-saving research and care at BC Cancer. I will move for the people who cannot and for every survivor who now feels strong.
This challenge is more than exercise it's about coming together to go beyond limits in making an impact for the 80,000 British Columbians facing cancer each year.
So, as I get ready to sweat my way through May, please show your support by donating today.
Together, we are stronger than cancer.
Thank you!
