X.comIn 2023 I participated in the BC Tour de Cure (BC Ride to Conquer Cancer), a 200km bike ride from Cloverdale to Hope BC. I rode with team Gear Up For Gilly, a small but mighty team that over the last two years has raised over $60,000 towards life-saving cancer research and care at BC Cancer.
With Tour de Cure coming to a close in 2024, I am excited to be participating this year in The Workout to Conquer Cancer. This fundraiser is a commitment to workout every single day in May in an effort to raise funds for the BC Cancer Foundation.
This challenge is more than exercise, it's about coming together to support the 80,000 British Columbians facing cancer each year.
I am fundraising for everyone impacted by cancer, including my family members and my team captain Guillaume, who has been living with terminal brain cancer since 2021.
Guillaume was asked to give a speech at the opening ceremonies for the 2024 Tour de Cure. He continues to inspires us with his resilience.
