Hello Friends!
After 16 years supporting BC Cancer in fundraising by completing the cyle Tour de Cure, my RGF teammates and I are shifting gears to a new venue to support BCCF. The cycle ride no longer exists, so our fundraisers and RGF have sponsored BCCF's Workout To Conquer Cancer event throughout the month of May, 2025!
The idea is to be active, daily, during May, for at least 30 minutes of physical activity. Not only is it a great way to start a good habit, or continue one, those of us committing to do it will be moving every single day to raise funds for life-saving research and care at BC Cancer.
I hope you'll consider joining this challenge. If you join our team, RGF will cover your entrance committment, simple! All your daily activities (walking, cycling, yoga, golf, workouts...) will be up to you!
If you prefer to help our quest for a cure in a less "physical" way, I hope you'll consider a donation to BCCF through this page. Tax deductible gifts will be matched by Rachel and I on the first $12,500 given in support of my challenge, and RGF will also match donations on the first $25,000 in support of our team efforts. If you, your family, friends or colleagues have been affected by cancer's roulette reach, we hope you'll partner with us to multiply our chances of a cure.
This challenge is more than exercise it's about coming together to reach farther in making an impact for the 80,000 British Columbians facing cancer each year.
So, please join us to sweat our way through May, or if our goal moves you in another way, please partner with us financially by donating what you can. Everything helps, and it may be doubled or tripled.
