Workout to Conquer Cancer 2025
Held by Edmond Chan

25 days remaining
In lieu of the Tour De Cure this year, I am participating in the Workout To Conquer Cancer (WTCC) to raise funds for life-saving research and care at BC Cancer. I am moving for the people who cannot and for every survivor who now feels strong. My pledge to WTCC is to have intentional movement (activities) equivalent of at least 30 minutes a day through the month of May. That means at least 930 minutes of activities over the 31 days in May.
As of April 30, my WTCC movement tracker already logged 3,493 minutes. So I am aiming to reach at least 4423 minutes by the end of May. Check back often to see my progress!
UPDATE as of May 20: I have now set a stretch target to DOUBLE the original goal! I am in effect also doing activities for someone else in addition of myself. My page banner image is now my very own minutes-tracking chart!!
This challenge is more than exercise, it is about coming together to go beyond limits in making an impact for the 80,000 British Columbians facing cancer each year.
My primary workout of choice is cycling. Since registering in WTCC mid-Feb, I already began logging my indoor cycling trainer work-outs (scroll down to check out my activity tracker log)! I will continue to keep moving beyond May as my cycling events season starts with the Valley GranFondo on June 8 and runs all the way to at least August 10 with the Tri-City Cycling Invitational!!
As I move my way from now through May and beyond, please show your support by donating today.
Together, we are stronger than cancer.
Thank you!
