Dear family and friends,
Throughout the month of May, I will be raising funds to support cancer research and care at BC Cancer Foundation. As part of my commitment, I will be exercising daily and tracking my physical activity every single day.
Cancer is complicated and varied. This is why the research continues. While some cancers are curable, others still remain elusive and difficult to treat. By donating, you are playing a vital part in helping to improve current treatments, develop novel treatments and improve the quality of life of those suffering from cancer.
This cause is near and dear to my heart because I have family members who have passed from cancer, another family member who is presently living with the physical, mental and emotional toll of cancer, and a dear friend who is in remission because of life-saving treatments that came from research thanks to the generosity of donors.
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference, and the life you help save could be that of a loved one or perhaps even your own.
