Workout to Conquer Cancer 2025

This May, I will be moving every single day to raise funds for life-saving research and care at BC Cancer. I will move for the people who cannot and for every survivor who now feels strong.
My mom Carole is a Cancer survivor, who has an inoperable brain tumor, and then later was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has endured radiation multiple times, surgeries, and years of adjusting to a life that doesn't look or feel the same. Still, she is grateful, and supports those around her and in the community battling Cancer.
My Aunt Sheila was diagnosed with breast cancer this year, and just completed a double mastectomy. She is a strong woman who waits for nobody and nothing that stands in her way, but she has a road to recovery ahead of her, and deserves peace of mind.
My Aunt Linda was diagnosed in the fall of 2023 with pancreatic cancer, given only a few months to live, and little time to process for my uncle, and cousins and my beautiful aunt. She fought hard, made the most of her time traveling and enjoying nature and her family and friends, but we lost her in March of 2024, and it has left a huge void in our family. I miss her terribly. I am beyond sad about her loss of life, I'm angry. I want to honor her memory, and the many more people in my family who have lost this battle. There are many, many more...may they all rest in peace.
This challenge is more than exercise it's about coming together to go beyond limits in making an impact for the 80,000 British Columbians facing cancer each year.
So, as I get ready to sweat my way through May, please show your support by donating today.
Together, we are stronger than cancer.
Thank you!
