Workout to Conquer Cancer 2024

In January 2023, I was diagnosed with HER2+ breast cancer. As a 37-year-old mother of two, with my youngest only 5 mon ths old, this was the scariest moment of my life. However, thanks to the prompt response and care given to me through BC Cancer, I knew what I had to do and how to beat this.
Now, I stand here as a cancer survivor in remission and getting stronger everyday. I will forever be thankful to BC Cancer and the amazing time of health care workers who supported me when I was at my weakest and most vulnerable.
Finally feeling like I have my physical strength back, this May, I will be moving every single day to raise funds for life-saving research and care at BC Cancer. I will move for the people who cannot and for every survivor who now feels strong.
This challenge is more than exercise it's about coming together to go beyond limits in making an impact for the 80,000 British Columbians facing cancer each year.
