It is hard to believe a year has gone by for all of us as we help our Myles battle his stomach cancer; diffuse infiltrating gastric carcinoma. The year has been filled with highs and lows while various treatments continued but as always, Myles has been battling on and coping with each obstacle. The success we have had to date has allowed us to have had some fantastic family trips incuding Desolation Sound this past summer and Christmas in Hawaii.

We thank all of our family and friends who continue to support us all and be our network of strength, with a big shout out also to Lee Whitley who has been helping us with his magic pills (#leehelps_oil). This month Myles and his team at BC Children's Hospital are preparing for a partial gastrectomy / bypass wherein his diseased pylorus and part of his stomach will be removed.

Once again our wonderful family, led by the Richardsons, have organized our Miles for Myles team to participate in the Workout to Conquer Cancer challenge, sweating our way through May as we raise money to support the BC Cancer Foundation's critical research into finding a cure for cancers.
