Why do you Workout?

We’d love to know what (or who!) is keeping you motivated this May. Share your story with the Workout to Conquer Cancer community by sharing your #WhyIWorkout story on social media. Here’s how:

  1. Share a photo, video or Instagram Reel of yourself on social media with the hashtag #WhyIWorkout and tag us:
  2. In your post, articulate why you’re participating in Workout to Conquer Cancer. There are a few ways that you can do this:
    • Write your reasons on a piece of paper, and take a photo with the paper
    • Share a photo of your participation, and articulate in the post caption why you’re participating - like Kim.
    • Create a video or Instagram Reel articulating why you’re participating in Workout to Conquer Cancer - like Anna.
  3. Don’t have social media but still want to share? No problem! Submit the following to us at workout@bccancer.bc.ca
    • Your name and number of years that you’ve participated in Workout to Conquer Cancer
    • Your photo and/or video
    • A brief explanation of why you’re moving every day in May

Workout to Conquer Cancer, presented by Scotiabank is on Strava!

Make the most of your challenge month by joining the official Workout to Conquer Cancer club on Strava. You’ll be able to track workouts, connect with fellow participants, and cheer one another on. Once you’ve set up your free Strava account, you can track all of your rides. You just need to open up your mobile app or smart device and you’re on your way. Let's get moving!
